47 Years of Helping People Buy and Sell Real Estate

When I first started in real estate 47 years ago, things looked a lot different. Listings were typed up on paper, contracts were signed in person with a firm handshake, and “location, location, location” was as true then as it is today. Over nearly five decades, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside countless families, first-time buyers, investors, and sellers through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.

Real estate isn’t just about houses and property lines—it’s about people. Every transaction has a story behind it. A young couple buying their very first home. A family needing to sell and move closer to loved ones. A retiree downsizing to something more manageable. An investor looking for the right opportunity. Being part of these stories is what has made this career so meaningful to me.

Over the years, I’ve seen the market shift many times—booms, slowdowns, high interest rates, low interest rates, and everything in between. What I’ve learned is that no matter what the market looks like, people always need guidance from someone who’s been there before. My job has always been to provide that steady hand, honest advice, and the kind of insight you can only get from years of experience.

One of the things I’m most proud of is the trust I’ve built. Some of my very first clients have come back to me decades later, or sent their children and even grandchildren my way. To me, that’s the highest compliment an agent can receive.

As I reflect on these 47 years, I can honestly say that real estate has never been just a job—it’s been a calling. I’ve been blessed to serve my community and help people make decisions that shape their futures.

The industry will keep changing, technology will continue to evolve, and new challenges will come our way. But one thing will always stay the same: my commitment to the people I serve.
